I breathed heavily as I sped down the freeway, hearing the sirens of the many police cars wailing behind me. My security uniform was stained with sweat, an obvious sign of my utter exhaustion to what I had done just moments before. I'm not entirely sure what I had done, or what I had prevented.
I took in a deep, long breath, trying to stay calm as I ducked and weaved through the traffic. The amount of cars was unusually high for this time of night and I knew that I had to get off the freeway soon since I couldn't dodge cars forever.
I saw the next exit approach and took it, veering to the right to drive onto it, thankful that there were no

The light-blue dragon looked down from its perch in the tree, eyeing the young man knocking at the front door of the house. The door creaked open, revealing a middle-aged man with short-cut, salt and pepper hair.
From his perch the dragon listened intently, with a feint sense of familiarity coming from the boy. It had seen him before, but from where and when?
"Excuse me, might there be a Shaun living here...?" he asked timidly.
The man looked surprised for a second before an expression of pain flashed across his aging face. "No, I'm sorry, there's no Shaun living here..." he said, shutting the door.
The young man walked away wordlessly, g
I had my mouth, or muzzle, wide open as I started right into the eyes of my father. His name, as Sheri had unexpectedly said correctly, was Adam. "Dad? Why are you here?" Seriously, why is he in the middle of God damn nowhere appearing as though nothing has happened?
"I came to save you two," he replied. It was nice to hear another family member again but this was such a strange circumstance for that to happen. Wait, did he say that he is going to 'save us'?
"How are you going to do that?" I asked.
"Simple. Just follow me," he replied he as turned to his right and started walking down the beach.
"No!" I yelled. I was completely sick and t

Off the Beaten Track - Naga TF
Just a few scrapes and bruises, nothing serious, I thought as I examined my injuries. I wasn't sure what had happened as it occurred too quickly for my brain to comprehend it. One moment I was riding my bike through the forest near my house, along a familiar dusty pathway that I always took to get to school, and before I knew it I rode straight into an overhanging tree branch that smacked me right in the face, causing me to lose my balance and go plummeting to the ground.
I was happy that I didn't break any bones or anything. This area, although it was near the town, was still hard to get to and because of that medical attention could have a

If I ever find the person who designed these corridors, they're going to wish they hadn't, I thought as me and James rushed through the facility in search for an exit. All the corridors and hallways looked the exact same so there was no way to be able to tell if we were going in the right direction or if we were just backtracking to where we've already been.
I was always surprised by how empty this place was. Surely, if there were any guards at all, they would have found us by now or, at least, we would have seen some sign of their existence around. We couldn't hear anything else other than the quiet and dull sound
James stayed silent as Sheri rested peacefully on top of him. He was surprised by how heavy she was since now she was a nine foot dragon, but then again he's probably just as heavy anyway. Pain from being slowly crushed began to hit him and he asked kindly for her to please get off. Sheri woke up and quickly climbed off him with a look of embarrassment on her face. "Sorry about that," she said quickly. James could have sworn that, if she didn't have scales all over her face, she was blushing.
"It's okay," replied James, smiling as he said it. Sheri smirked back and they both turned and faced the man who was lying on the ground. He had comple
All Sheri could do was sit there, totally paralysed by the fact that she could not comprehend what was happening. "James?" she asked as she stared right into the bloodthirsty reptilian eyes of her cell mate. The dragon did not seem to understand her words and instead took a single step towards her, his growling intensifying. Sheri scrambled back onto her feet and looked at the angry beast. Oh God, she thought to herself, what has happened to you James? She had no idea what she was going to do. At first she thought of running but she stopped herself when she saw that there was nowhere to run to since the door behind her was closed and presumab
I felt numb all over while I lied down, sleeping. It felt like all of my strength had been taken away from me when I entered this empty void known as 'unconsciousness'. I tried to recollect what had happened before. My thoughts were vague but I remembered key moments from before. I remembered walking home from school before I was grabbed from behind as I along a lonely pathway that stretched through a small forested area. Yes, it does seem like a terrible spot to walk through but it is the fastest way for me to get home and I'm not spending another fifteen minutes just to take a longer route. Although now I probably will since all of the trus
I looked over to Sheri who was also panicking about as much as me. "Get up," the woman coldly ordered me. I was firstly hesitant to comply but she activated the cattle prod which sent electric sparks flying across its two prongs. This sight made me sudden obey her without question. Even though my body is lined with tough, water proof scales, the electricity from the prod still seemed to be able to do serious harm to me. I stood up and stared at her blank, soulless face. "Good."
She turned around and faced Sheri. "You too, get up." I saw in Sheri's eyes that she wasn't going to do it. Now might not be the best time to defend yourself. I shot
I introduced myself to my new cell mate, or at least that's what she appears to be. I looked up into her face and saw how perky she was, even though she in this horrible situation. I smiled lightly because I was glad to finally have someone else in here with me. It's a bonus that she seemed so cheerful. "Where are you from?"
"England," she replied. Sheri seemed to stutter out that word sadly. I didn't blame her because if she's like me then she was taken away from her home forcibly as well.
I decided to ask another question about something else that was bugging me about her. She also had draconic parts on her body so I guessed that she was

It was pitch black in the room where Sheri had been for the past couple of hours. She woke up a while ago after the drugs that 'they' used on her began to wear off. She didn't dare speak or even move. She didn't know where she was or why she was here. She didn't know what these people were capable of. Every couple of minutes she felt a vibration go through the room, leaving her to believe that she was being moved somewhere. The room that she was in wasn't really a 'room'; it was more like a container, kind of like one of those shipping containers they use in large overseas cargo ships.
She sat in the dark for a short while longer before noti
From James' point of view
I was cold. I felt uncomfortable. I was afraid. I had just finished changing into my new body and now here I was who knows where taken away from my family by who knows who. I opened my eyes groggily, the drowsy effect being drugged from the tranquilizer dart still taking effect. At least that first time I blacked out it was because I was tired but being drugged is awful. I felt like I wanted to empty all of the contents of my bowels, like a did in that school toilet when all of this started. The problem was I actually had nothing in my stomach that I could empty out. I was starving and hadn't eaten since Friday nigh
Saturday morning
Light shone through Matthew Tream's windows into his eyes causing him to wake up. He groggily groaned and turned his head to to one side to see his radio clock. It was almost noon. He had slept in but at least it was the weekend so no harm done. I slowly crawled out of bed and wandered over to his kitchen where he opened his pantry and grabbed a box of cereal. He opened his fridge, grabbed a carton of milk then grabbed a bowl and poured the two ingredients together. He carried the bowl over to his dining table and, with a metal spoon in one hand, began to eat the breakfast.
When he was half way done he reached over for his
It would have been kind of hard to tell what was going through Sarah's mind. There she was: opening her apartment window to let in her best friend who has become some human dragon hybrid. She opened the window and noticed that there was nobody walking around in the streets below. She was relieved that no one else saw Sheri as she flew into her apartment. She landed with a thud and turned around to face Sheri. "How are you?"
"I'm okay, but what happened to you?"
"I don't know!" She snapped, changing her mood completely. She went from cheerful and full of life to being totally panicked and frantic. Sarah was surprised by this sudden outburst
Hey guys!
In case you haven't noticed, I'm never on DeviantArt anymore.
If you want to stay in contact with me, I'm way more active on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/GioSpy
Alright, time to disappear back into the void!
I'm not going to be at home during the weekend of the Australian federal election so I applied for a postal vote and filled it out just then. Now I just have to mail it off and forgot about all politics for now!
Also, I told myself I was going to make this post when I voted because I was overwhelmed with all the journal entries from Americans last year when they had their election. I just wanted to bug you all back!
Also, I guess saying that 'I voted' in Australia isn't a huge accomplishment since voting IS compulsory here x3
